Sources and corrections
Traceable facts and visible uncertainty
Every public record should make it possible to see what was checked, when it was checked, and what still needs confirmation.
Source order
- Official organization and government sources.
- Direct public confirmation from the responsible organization.
- Reliable secondary sources, clearly identified when needed.
Independent public wording
Private professional observations can suggest a research question, but they are not copied into the public dataset. A public claim must be independently verified from public evidence and written for the public record.
Corrections
A working correction route, response process, and update record must be in place before launch. Material corrections should preserve the source and review history rather than silently erasing it.
Listings and ranking
Organizations cannot pay for a listing or a better position in search results. Coverage and ordering should reflect usefulness, scope, evidence quality, and transparent editorial rules.
